  3. Capacity Building
    The fair trading organizations should initiate skill development measures for producers in order to improve their financial and social status.

  4. Promoting Fair Trade
    The fair trading organizations must make move in order to create and raise awareness at all levels about the concept and spirit of fair trade.

  5. Payment of Fair Price
    The fair trading organizations must uphold the practice of delivering fair payment to the producers while sustaining fair pricing in the market.

  6. Gender Equity
    The fair trading organizations must ensure equal skill development opportunities and equal payment for both men and women. This standard especially emphasizes women empowerment.

  7. Working Conditions
    The fair trading organizations must practice the international health and safety standards and abide by the law of the concerned state and ILO Convention.

  8. Child Labour
    The fair trading organizations must comply with the UN Convention on The Rights of the Child and ensure that no children work for the organization.

  9. Environment
    The fair trading organizations must use and promote technologies that are eco-friendly and consume less energy.
